This skin macerated, naturally fermented, orange wine is clear and clean, with a firm tannin backbone. Notes of dried orange peel, marzipan, honey, and white flowers. Instead of simply tasting fruit or flowers this wine tastes of bruised apple, pot Pori and candied peel. It has a savory finish which marries well with complex food flavors such as dim sum, or slow roasted lamb and can be served slightly less chilled than a conventional white to allow the oak flavors a chance to express themselves.
