Deep ruby to the eye, this wine has a fruit-forward nose of blackberry and black currant. It offers flavors of cherry conserves, lingonberry, licorice and chocolate. Tannins seem slightly drying at first but they are overcome by acidity that makes its presence known well after the citrus-zest finish.
