With an enrapturing inky color, it presents aromas of plum, black cherry and cassis. The massive palate explodes with blackberry and vanilla with hints of tobacco leaf. It is at its best with a hard aged cheese such as Parmigiano-Reggiano, or served with a crown roast of lamb.
