This bourbon offers a nice contrast of sweeter and fruitier flavors up front that become spicier in the finish. The youthful flavors of the bourbon are evident, but they are mellowed by the honey barrels. What is also mellowed is the alcohol. This bourbon carries that 100 proof quite well. In addition, the honey flavor itself is fairly subtle and not at all overdone.
